Doris is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 27 years of corporate experience. She has provided ongoing consulting services for The Princeton Review and Intersystems on various financial and tax projects, and served as CFO and Controller of public education consulting firm CELT Corporation. Doris also held a Vice President/Controller post at El Dorado Marketing Group, where she managed and supervised all accounting, human resources, tax and financial functions for a VC backed start-up company.
Doris is currently a senior lecturer at Bentley University and has been teaching financial and managerial accounting for 7 years. She was the recipient of the 2017 Innovation in Teaching award and was also nominated for the inaugural Dr. Gregory H. Adamian Award for Lifetime Teaching Excellence. During her spare time, Doris enjoys reading historical fiction and traveling with her husband and 3 young adult children. Doris's alma-mater is Bentley University which is also her husband and two oldest children's alma-mater. The youngest child is currently attending Boston College. There are 4 falcons and a lone eagle in the family!
