  • Digital Strategy Intern

    We're looking for a student or recent graduate to join the Alipes team as a Digital Strategy Intern. Your responsibilities would include mapping, monitoring, and reporting on digital platforms; producing regular analytics reports on client projects; and contributing social media content (blog posts, Facebook posts, etc.). Prior experience with social media is a must, as are strong writing skills and attention to detail. You’ll have the opportunity to work with all members of our team to get hands-on experience creating, producing, and driving a message online. The internship is part-time and paid, and the schedule is flexible.

    You'd be responsible for...

    • Creating social media content for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and beyond
    • Helping to execute a digital social strategy for our clients
    • Producing regular reports on client projects to analyze and monitor project performance
    • Working with our strategy, creative, and technology teams to help implement new websites and projects

    You'll be a great fit for this internship if you have...

    • A personal interest in and previous experience using digital and social media, including blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
    • Strong writing skills
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other social media analytics tools
    • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and communicate in a busy environment
    • Experience with a content management system such as Movable Type, WordPress, Blogger, or others
    • Excellent attention to detail

  • Accounting Manager (Part Time)

    Compensation: Dependent upon experience

    Part-time position (2 days per week)

    Alipes is a digital agency helping clients with every aspect of their online efforts – strategy, technology, design, advertising, content development, execution, and measurement.

    We are looking for a part-time (2 days per week) Accounting Manager to support accounting and operations, leading and managing day-to-day accounting operations and processes across the company. This may include the ability to design and build processes for the company and general office administration. You’re a great fit for this role if you love working with people and are highly organized, detail-oriented, numbers-oriented, and professional. A sense of humor is always a plus!

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • You will be responsible for revenue accounting, general accounting, cash reconciliations, tax compliance, and the month end/year end close processes
    • Coordinate, maintain, and control the company’s accounting and reporting in accordance with US GAAP
    • Responsible for accounts payable process, including entering payables and cutting checks
    • Responsible for accounts receivable process, including monthly billing and maintaining good customer relations. Manage collections with support from Office Manager
    • Working with the CFO, maintain monthly cash position report, cash forecasting model, and cash flow projections
    • Responsible for payroll processing and oversight and benefits administration

    You would be a good fit if you have/are...

    • BA/BS required, MSA or CPA strongly preferred
    • 4-8 years work experience with 3+ years of experience in a Accounting Manager role
    • Proven success shaping and maintaining the accounting operations and reporting in a rapidly growing company
    • Experience identifying areas for improvement and implementation of more effective and efficient processes and strategies
    • Established and detail-oriented self-starter with strong analytical skills and with experience working in a hands-on environment able to prioritize workload
    • Ability to work well under pressure and/or strict deadlines
    • Demonstrated success in promote a positive team-oriented environment
    • Ability to manage and direct change, delays, or unexpected events appropriately
    • Genuine desire to make meaningful contributions on a team with huge aspirations
